Writing articles without any research, or on the spur of the moment, isn’t easy and rarely happens. Inspiration for anything usually comes whilst concentrating on other things. You may make a mental note to do a write up on something, but 9 times out of 10, you’ll (or I’ll) forget to do something about it.
There are many bookmark sharing tools around, and you could always copy and paste a link and some text, but that’s a bit fumbly. Perhaps you should have a look at the Clipmarks Firefox addon.
This powerful tool sits dormant until you click the icon between the address and search bars. Click the icon and the Clipmarks interface appears. Then all you need to do is click to select titles, paragraphs, images and links (click next to the link to avoid following it), and then confirm your selection.
You can choose to save this information to your clipmarks account and keep it private, or share it with the clipmarks community, but you can also publish it to a huge range of social networking and blogging platforms, including self hosted WordPress installations.
Everyone has their own productivity methods, so Clipmarks won’t be for everyone, but it’s definitely worth looking at. Did I mention that it’s free?
